Vacation Diaries: Missing the Beach

It has been about a month since my last post, and I am so sorry. After getting back from vacation I have been swamped with work and preparing for the upcoming school year. I did want to share one last outfit post from my week in Brigantine.

I found this dress at a cute shop on the Ocean City boardwalk when my parents and I spent the night there, I wrote a post about our night there. This purple off the shoulder dress is perfect for day or night. I tried to keep my look casual for a day out in the town. I paired the dress with these lace up sandals I found at TJ Maxx and my Raybans. I kept my makeup simple with just some BB cream with SPF and mascara, I don’t like feeling cake faced while at the beach.

As much as I miss the relaxing beach and hanging out by the pool, I am very excited to get back to New York City for my third year. In just one short month, I will be reunited with the big apple and you will obviously come along on all my adventures. Stay tuned!

Life Update & OOTD

First of all, I’d like to say congrats to anyone who has graduated this spring! I just graduated myself with my associates degree last week, and will start my bachelors degree next fall. Check out my blog post talking about school here.

Today I wanted to give a little bit of an update to you guys! As you guys can see from these photos, I am not in New York City anymore. I have moved back home to New Jersey for the summer. I originally planned to stay in the city for the summer and continue working. Luckily, I was able to transfer to a store close to home.

If you didn’t know, I work for Kenneth Cole. This outfit is actually what I wore to my first day working at the new store yesterday. It was great day, and I am so excited to meet and work with a new group of great people this summer.

My top is a Kenneth Cole button up that has slits up the front and back. I paired it with a plain pair of black leggings and a statement necklace for a pop of color.

I also wore a pair of Kenneth Cole platforms and my favorite Ray Ban sunglasses.

Fall is in the Air

The crisp freshness in the air and the turn of green to yellow. It can only mean one thing. Fall is here.

Today is the first day of my favorite season; and it’s not just because my birthday is less than a month away. I love the crisp weather, warm sweaters, and delicious smells that all come with the autumn season.

Seeing the leaves start to fall in Bryant Park was really exciting. I pulled on my favorite BCBG sweater, that I may have stolen from my mom, and a pair of studded leggings. I threw on my favorite chunky H&M booties with a black knit scarf to finish my fall look.
DSC_3499_2I have also been obsessed with wearing my hair in this half up- half down hair style. I’m not sure why because it’s the same look I wore when I was a kid, but I really have been loving the look.

DSC_3511_2Sitting in Bryant Park was so relaxing after a long day of schoolwork. Sitting near the fountain and people watching was a great start to the season. Behind the fountain you can see the Public Library, which is still on my bucket list of places to visit.

DSC_3538_2Overall I want to wish everyone an amazing start to the fall season. May there be pumpkin spice lattes and hot chocolates in all your futures!
