Let Me Live

As the summer is coming to an end and school is about to start again, I wanted to take one last adventure with a friend. What better place than Adventure Aquarium in Camden.

I went with my friend Tommy, who just started his own blog called Let Me Live, so go check out his blog and give him some love!

Tommy and I went to high school together, but now he is a student at Monmouth University and he is studying Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing. As a student, Tommy has his own unique style and I decided to ask him about it.

What does “style” mean to you?

“Style is when someone has his or her own uniqueness to their outfit. Everyone has style, but everyone has different kinds of style, if you know what I mean haha. For example, I wear a lot of t-shirts but I choose to buy the ones that have graphics or writing on them because even though it is a basic t-shirt it adds my personality on the t-shirt.”

How would you describe your personal style?

“If you know my personality, that is how you would kind of describe my style. I like cool colors and graphics, but also clean cut clothing so nothing too big or nothing too tight. I try to be comfortable as much as possible in my clothes but still look decent in my clothes because why wear something that is not comfortable?”

What is one piece of clothing/accessory you can’t live without or has a special meaning to you?

“For some reason, I always have my backpack with me. I always seem to have something to carry, either it is a book or my laptop or even my friends’ personal things. Also, since I have an Android phone, people never have my charger so I always just put it in my backpack just in case.”

Tommy and I had so much fun exploring the aquarium and the Waterfront in Camden.

Here are just a few of the pictures from our trip.

It wouldn’t be a Style Student post without outfit details!

My white and blue romper is from Old Navy.

I decided to pair the romper with my favorite summer accessories which you have seen in posts before. My sandals are from TJ Maxx and my bag is from & Other Stories.

Be sure to check out Let Me Live, Tommy’s blog, and read the collab post he wrote on there!

If you like these kind of collaboration posts where I ask my fellow students questions, let me know and I will be sure to do many more.

Welcome Back! Sorry it has been awhile but I have been super busy and had a broken computer. But, I’m back with a new computer and tons of post ideas. So be prepared for many new posts to come in the near future!

I have recently been to Princeton, New Jersey. Known for the infamous university. But also the cutest college town I have ever been to.

Before you get any ideas, I am not going to Princeton University; I just went to the college town for the day with family. If have been reading my blog for awhile, you would know I am going to New York City to attend FIT, Fashion Institute of Technology.

I wanted to be comfortable for the walking and shopping we would be doing around the heart of Princeton. So I wore a comfortable jumpsuit I found on the sale rack at Macy’s, for only $15! I love jumpsuits, one of my summer essentials, because they are so easy to dress up or down with just your shoes and accessories.

I paired the jumpsuit with a pair of gold sandals and a bandeau so that I wasn’t revealing to much. I added a simple cross body bag to complete my look.

Let me know what you think of jumpsuits for summer and how you wear them.
